Our Staff:
Evelynn has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 30 years, it is her passion. She has a degree in Early Childhood Management and has been the Director since it opened in 1998. She serves on the leadership board of the Duval Early Learning Director's Network. She counts it a blessing to work with such a talented and dedicated group of educators and a privilege to work with families and their precious children.
Teresa has been a part of FCBA both as a parent and now as a staff member since 2004 when her son attended the preschool program. Teresa has a B.A. in Marketing and is currently working to obtain her Childcare Director’s license. She truly loves her job and values the friendships that she has made over the years with co-workers, the children and their families.
Amy was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She has been a member of FCBC for 12 years where she served in the preschool and children’s ministries. She’s excited to be joining the wonderful staff at FCBA.
Pam brings her enthusiasm for music, movement, and reading expression to each child in our program. She sees her assignment with the excellent staff of FCBA as a divine blessing. She loves working with preschoolers and is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Management.
Patricia loves children who are going through their “Terrific Twos”. Working with them is not her job—it is her calling. She has served on staff at FCBA as Lead Two-year-old Teacher since 2008 She delights in fostering their natural love for learning, preparing them for future educational achievement.
Suzanne has worked with children of all ages and special needs since 1987 in public schools. She believes that God has called her to work in the spiritual life of these young children to whom she holds very dear to her heart. Matthew 19:14
Renee is a Jacksonville native and graduated from Terry Parker HS. She has been a member of FCBC for 15 years and have served in the Preschool and Children's ministry for the past 10 years. She has also done some substitute teaching and is currently working on her Early Childhood Education Certificate. She loves children and feels very blessed to be able to teach them in a Christian environment.
Susan has worked in early childhood for many years, coming to FCBA n 2008. She has her Child Development Associate Credential and brings a love of learning to our three year olds.
Susan holds the National Child Development Associate credential. She is entering 4th year @ FCBA with much love and joy for the children and staff!
Tiffany; a student at FSCJ studying early childhood education; has been with FCBA one year. Her faith and love of children are evident as she follows God’s calling on her life.
Grace has her Associates in Arts degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville and is currently working on her Bachelors degree in elementary education.Grace has been a member of Ft.Caroline Baptist Church since 1991. She is excited to be joining the FCBA team.
Mandy has been involved in Early Childhood Education at FCBA since 2006. She loves teaching the Pre-K children and thinks it is a very rewarding experience to work with them and to be on staff at FCBA.
Lasonda has worked at Fort Caroline Baptist Academy for 12 years. She has a Child Development Associate Credential and loves working with children.
Debbie has been teaching children for fourteen years and has a Child Development Associate Certificate. She loves teaching and thinks learning should be fun! Also, Debbie has been employed at FCBA for five years. God has truly blessed her with a wonderful husband and two great children of her own.
Peggy has a B.A. in Special Education from the University of North Florida. She has taught 10+ years in the Duval County School system and 4 years in VPK at Fort Caroline Baptist Academy. She feels honored to have had the opportunity to work with such loving and caring staff and precious children at FCBA
Trina received her B.A. is Special Education from the University of West Florida. After teaching many grade levels throughout the years, she can honestly say that preschoolers are her favorite students to teach! She feels truly blessed to be teaching the grade level that she loves, and be in a school that is a wonderful place to work!
Annette has been involved in the field of education for the last twenty years as a parent, volunteer, teacher and tutor. Early childhood education is her favorite area. She has a Masters Degree in Business and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the College of William and Mary.
Peggy has been involved in Early Childhood Education at FCBA since 2006. She loves teaching the Pre-K children- “it's a very rewarding experience to work with them and to be on staff at this school.”
Donna is a Jacksonville native who graduated from Sandalwood HS and the University of North Florida. She has been a member of FCBC for 18 years and have served all of those years in the preschool and/or children's ministry. She loves being a part of FCBA and sees it as a wonderful ministry to the parents and preschoolers in our church and community.
